This 34-graduate credit program provides currently certified teachers a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning Physics. NJ teachers who pass the General Science and Physics Praxis exams also meet the requirements to earn a new physics endorsement. This program is 100% online and asynchronous.

This 34-graduate credit program provides currently certified teachers a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning Chemistry. NJ teachers who pass the General Science and Chemistry Praxis exams also meet the requirements to earn a new chemistry endorsement. This program is 100% online and asynchronous.

This 34-graduate credit program meets the course requirements to earn an NJ endorsement to teach Biology and prepares teachers to pass the required Praxis exam. It is designed for currently NJ-certified teachers of any subject. This program is 100% online and asynchronous.

This 30-graduate credit program provides currently certified teachers a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning Elementary Mathematics. NJ teachers who pass the Middle School Mathematics Praxis exam also meet the requirements to earn a Middle School Mathematics endorsement. This program is 100% online and asynchronous.

This 38-graduate credit program provides currently certified teachers a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning Mathematics. NJ teachers who pass the Mathematics Praxis exam also meet the requirements to earn a new mathematics endorsement. This program is 100% online and asynchronous.

This 32-graduate credit program provides currently certified teachers a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning Computer Science. NJ teachers who pass the Computer Science Praxis exam also meet the requirements to earn a Computer Science add-on endorsement. This program is 100% online and asynchronous. NJCTL is a College Board Endorsed Provider of both AP Computer Science courses.

This 24-credit Add-On Endorsement program provides the graduate courses for certified NJ teachers (CE, CEAS, or Standard) to add a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement. This program is 100% online and asynchronous.

This 22-graduate credit program meets the course requirements to earn an NJ endorsement to teach Physical Science and prepares teachers to pass the required Praxis exam. It is designed for teachers who already have either an NJ physics or chemistry endorsement and would like to teach both subjects. This program is 100% online and asynchronous.

This 24-graduate credit program meets the course requirements to earn an NJ endorsement to teach Middle School Mathematics and prepares teachers to pass the required Praxis exam. It is designed for currently NJ-certified teachers of any subject. This program is 100% online and asynchronous.

This 16-graduate credit program helps K-5 teachers continuously improve their teaching of mathematics. Two mathematics courses and a teaching methods course are followed by two coached field experiences. It is 100% online and asynchronous and counts towards a 30-credit Master of Science in Teaching and Learning Elementary Mathematics degree.

Anyone with a bachelor's degree in any subject, with any GPA, may enroll in NJCTL courses and/or a master's degree program. No prior mathematics or science background required.
NJCTL is an online graduate school of education duly authorized by the NJ Office of the Secretary of Higher Education with initial programmatic accreditation from the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). NJDOE accepts NJCTL credits towards meeting certification requirements.
NJCTL has been recognized as a Candidate for Accreditation by WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), 1080 Marina Village Parkway, Suite 500, Alameda, CA 94501, 510.748.9001. This status is a preliminary affiliation with the Commission awarded for a maximum period of five years. Candidacy is an indication that the institution is progressing toward Accreditation. There are instances when credits from an institution that has institutional accreditation are needed. For instance, some districts require them for tuition reimbursement and/or salary advancement. Some DOEs outside of NJ require those credits to meet their certification requirements. If needed, credit transcription is available. Learn more.
