John Ennis has had an extraordinary professional life by any standards. He graduated first in his class from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis and earned a Ph.D. in physics from Yale University. While serving in the U.S. Navy, he directed the operations of the nuclear reactors and shipboard communications for two nuclear-powered guided missile cruisers. Later, he served as Division Manager at the world-renowned AT&T Bell Laboratories and Network Operations. Then he built a network operations organization for a startup telecommunications company.
Now John says he has found the most challenging and rewarding part of his working life as a physics teacher at Secaucus High School. Luckily for us, John also creates physics content for CTL’s Progressive Science Initiative® (PSI®).
