NJCTL Supports Teachers to Build Strength in STEM

Over the past year, we have had a multi-pronged effort to ensure educators, the broader education community throughout the state of New Jersey, and to a certain extent throughout the country, know about the resources NJCTL has to offer.  This includes our free, editable K-12 science and mathematics course materials, as well as opportunities for teachers to build their teaching skills and earn additional STEM endorsements.

From our freshly designed emails, to interactive webinars, Facebook engagement and live workshops, we hope you have begun to learn about how we can best support you and your goals for your career.

There have now been over 2.5 million downloads of NJCTL’s course materials.

We are pleased to report that another result of our outreach effort has been a dramatic increase in teachers who are pursuing new endorsements in the much-needed fields of physics, chemistry and mathematics.  There are currently over 120 teachers in the pipeline to earn their endorsements in these subjects within the next two years!
