The NJ Model Curriculum Assessments are now available on-line. For PMI users, these assessments are included in the year long plan showing when the students will be ready to take them. They can be downloaded from the state's website.
From the PMI pacing, students should be prepared to take the Unit 1 Assessments after the completion of the units as noted below. (Click on grade level to go directly to the website.)
Kindergarten - Daily Routines, Counting & Cardinality, and Numbers in Base Ten Units
First Grade - Numbers to 120, Addition to 20, and Subtraction to 20 Units (Students will be ready for Assessments 1 & 2)
Second Grade - Place Value, Facts and 2 Digit Addition & Subtraction Units (Students will be ready for Assessments 1 & 2)
Third Grade - Place Value, Multiplication & Division Units (Students will be ready for Assessments 1 & 2)
Fourth Grade - Number Sense & Algebraic Concepts and Multiplication & Division Relationship Units
Fifth Grade - Decimal Concepts, Decimal Computation, Division and Algebraic Concepts Units
Sixth Grade - Fractions, Decimal Computation, Statistics and Number System Units
Seventh Grade - Number System Unit
Eighth Grade - 2D Geometry Unit
