CTL Programs Featured in New York Emmy Nominated NJEA Classroom Closeup Show

Congratulations to NJEA’s Classroom Closeup Show for receiving three New York Emmy Award nominations! The awards will be announced at the 58th Annual New York Emmy® Awards Gala on Saturday, May 2, 2015.

CTL, the #1 producer of physics teachers, is proud to be featured in the award-nominated episode that includes Rewind: NJ Center for Teaching & Learning.

The segment features CTL Executive Director Dr. Robert Goodman, Director of Research and Operations Dr. Rosemary Knab, Senior Program Manager Melissa Axelsson, as well as teachers Mary O’Sullivan, Marie Guerrero, Heather Crosson, and classroom footage of students in Egg Harbor City School District, Bergen County Technical Schools, and Jersey City learning PSI Physics and PMI Math. Classroom Close-up, NJ is a half-hour television program that features innovative projects in New Jersey public schools. The 12-time Emmy® award-winning show is in its 21st season and airs on NJTV every Sunday at 7:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Wednesdays at 11:30 p.m.; and Saturdays at 5:30 a.m. The show, sponsored by PSE&G, is the only program in the country devoted to featuring the positive things happening in public schools.
