It’s exciting to see many of you who are currently studying with NJCTL -- as well as some of our alumni -- take advantage of our partnership with Colorado State University – Global Campus (CSU-Global) to earn graduate credits and in some cases, work toward your Master of Science in Teaching and Learning degrees.
There are several ways you can benefit from our partnership:
Graduate Credits
We have new endorsement programs eligible for graduate credit. Through our existing endorsement programs, you can earn more graduate credits than before. This may be particularly beneficial if you are a teacher who needs transcribed graduate credits to move across your salary guide.
At a rate of $85 per credit, payable directly to CSU-Global, NJCTL endorsement programs and some of our additional elective courses can help teachers to earn up to:
* 38 credits in physics: 30 credits from the Physics Endorsement Program, with the option for teachers to take up to two additional elective courses that earn 4 graduate credits each
* 30 credits from the Chemistry Endorsement Program
* 24 credits from the Middle School Mathematics Endorsement Program
* 38 credits from the K-12 Mathematics Endorsement Program
Master of Science in Teaching and Learning
Teachers who complete an endorsement program with NJCTL can transfer their coursework to CSU-Global and earn 18 credits toward a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning degree, with 18 more credits needed to earn that degree. Please note: NJCTL students also receive a per-credit tuition discount on their additional coursework with CSU-Global.
