The CTL Teaching Methods Course prepares you to get the most out of using PSI-PMI course materials. Come learn about CTL's innovative approaches toward curriculum, pedagogy, technology, formative and summative assessment, grading and pacing and how those are woven together to create a highly effective teaching and learning environment. Days 1 and 2 of the course focus on best practices to implement PSI and PMI including teaching with interactive boards/projectors, using formative assessment as an integrated part of daily instruction, implementing standards-based assessment strategies, and creating a social-constructivist classroom culture; Day 3 is an optional day for teachers interested in earning a graduate credit from Adams State University (ASU).
