MATH6402: MS Mathematics Field Experience I

This is the first of two field experience courses in which candidates teach at least one section of PMI mathematics to students. Learners will develop a deeper understanding of PMI mathematics content and teaching methods. Content topics will be drawn from MATH6401 or MATH6403. Methods topics include dynamic, brief direct instruction; polling-facilitated formative assessment; social constructivism; and mastery-based summative assessment. 

Prerequisites: MATH6101, MATH6401, and MATH6403, or Instructor Approval
